| February 2010 - Several of our foals have been sold and are leaving soon or have already left for their new homes. We would like to wish loads of enjoyment and success to Sue Proctor of Vic and her gorgeous gelding Marconi Minstrel Rokewood Stud of Vic with their very handsome young man Marconi Royal Doulton Cate Edwards of NSW with her very sweet filly Marconi Dejavu Tessa Lehan & Steve Peacock of NSW with their golden girl Marconi Gold Sovereign Nicola Leske of NZ and her very special colt Marconi Class Act Arriving at our stud very soon is a gorgeous filly - Koora-Lyn Princess Dawn. Dawn is a 5th generation Australian Pony by Koora-Lyn Tishka out of Koora-Lyn Dawn. We very much look forward to getting her out and about at upcoming foal shows. January 2010 - Our final foal for the season has been born at last. Weston Park So Fair has produced a divine poppy eyed buckskin colt by Weston Park Mercury. Kent has a small blaze and two hind socks, newborn photos are on the foal page. We have several mares in foal for the new season. Most of which will be available for sale. Weston Park Mercury has covered 3 mares - Glenvale Kaneesha (Arabian Pony/Riding Pony), Trentlyn Folksong (Welsh B) and Llanfechan Ballerina (Welsh B). Arabian Pony mare Glenvale Mia is in foal to the lovely Palomino Riding Pony stallion Keira Park Cascade. Riding Pony mare Diamonds of Marconi is set for her first baby being in foal to the super producing stallion Fairlight Acres Kristian. Our Supreme Champion Welsh B filly Marconi Diva is also having her first foal by Royal Champion Bamborough Academy and lucky last Welsh B mare Cherrington Porcelan is in foal to Manildra Rob Roy. Cant wait to meet these babies. November 2009 - Congratulations to Cherishwood Stud on the birth of a lovely bay Part welsh, Riding Pony filly by Weston Park Mercury out of their beautiful mare Arinlea Royal Obsession. A lovely update has arrived on the 4 year old Welsh B mare Marconi Matilda from her owner Tess Clyne. Tilly has been broken in and is going well and will be out and about under saddle in the showring in the near future. Well done Tess, I'm sure Tilly will make us both proud. October 2009 - Congratulations to Thorwood Stud on the birth of a lovely buckskin Welsh B filly out of their wonderful old girl Kinlieth Saphire by Weston Park Mercury. Pictured below middle Congratulations to Crestwood Stud on the birth of a gorgeous Palomino colt by our own Weston Park Mercury out of Imperial Shy Girl. Pictured below left Congratulations to Glenvale Stud on the birth of a very pretty buckskin Arabian Pony/Riding Pony colt by Weston Park Mercury out of Glenvale Shanae, pictured below right. Shanae is a 3/4 sister to our own Glenvale Kaneesha who has just been covered by WP Mercury for a 2010 foal, so I was thrilled to see how gorgeous Shanaes foal is and hope to get one just as lovely next season. September 2009 - Another new baby, Cherrington Porcelan has also delivered her foal, a very cute palomino Welsh B Colt by Manildra Rob Roy. Photos on the foal page. One more foal for us still to arrive but not until January so we have a bit of a break. Most of our 2009 foals are for sale please visit the foal page to those which are available. Terms are offered until weaning. Somerfield Anyanka decided it was time for her baby to be born during horrendous rain and cold temperatures. I think she wanted to be tucked up in a cosy stable! She presented us with a very special chestnut and white pinto Australian Pony colt by Westacre and Rokewood Studs multi Supreme Fairlight Acres Adair. Another new baby, again in the early hours of the morning Foxmoor Highlight finally delivered her baby. A very cute bay welsh B filly by Mirinda Spycatcher with a blaze and looks to be one tiny sock. In the early hours of the morning on September 22 we welcomed a very attractive and flashy chestnut Welsh B colt with blaze and socks. Brad is by the beautiful imported stallion Lemonshill Firebird and out of our divine mare Imperial Manika. Brad is offered for sale and will be available at weaning. August 2009 - Our favorite time of the year is here with the arrival of foaling season. We have had three foals born in three days with two of them arriving on the same day which was a great thrill. Bungalally Cappacinno finally gave birth to a FILLY after 4 colts. Very exciting! Delilah is a gorgeous Buckskin with blaze and two hind socks by Weston Park Mercury. Another sensational addition to the "Gold" Family. Trentlyn Folksong presented us with a tall, very pretty bay colt with blaze and 3 socks. By Tooravale Picasso this very typey fellow is a 3/4 brother to our much loved Foal Show Champion Marconi Flair. Tate is offered for sale and will be available at weaning. Our dear old girl Llanfechan Ballerina has given us a much longed for filly by Weston Park Mercury making her a full sister to Ballanbrae Studs exquisite young sire Marconi Encore. Nicknamed Hildy this young lady will stay with us as a future replacement for her mother who is now 23 years old. Our very special mare Pearl of Marconi has been leased to Rebecca Jones and is now back in work with Beck for the upcoming season. We wish Beck much fun with Pearl and hope together they continue the huge success they had when they teamed up last season. July 2009 - Another beautiful new arrival to our stud with the purchase of Arabian Pony mare Glenvale Kaneesha. Kaneesha is by arabian pony stallion Glenvale Kleeshay and out of purebred arabian mare Shiranna Shaklana. Kaneesha will be covered by Weston Park Mercury for a very exciting 2010 foal.
