Mercury was chosen by us at 6 weeks of age on a visit to Weston Park Stud to look for a colt to be our future stallion. Mercury immediately
caught our eye amongst a host of other beautiful colts and it was without doubt that we knew this young man was to be ‘the one’.
Due to time comittments Mercury was unshown as a youngster and now remains happy living with his mares, so we are happy to let his
progeny perform for him.
Mercury brings with him some of the most impressive Welsh bloodlines available being by Supreme Champion Weston Park Monmouth (dec) out
of previous Victorian All Welsh Supreme Section B Weston Park Magnolia. Mercury carries a double cross of the ethereal Royal Welsh winner
Weston Mary Anne (imp) within two generations who has passed down to him an exquisite pony head, combine this with the beautiful
movement and tremendous front of his grandsire Rotherwood Casino Royale (imp), and very correct conformation.
We feel Mercury is the ideal pony to compliment our breeding plans, with the added bonus of color.
Although only very young Mercury's progeny are performing at the highest level with his progeny having won Multi Royal Champions, Barastoc
Horse of the Year winners, Barastoc Champions and a son and daughter winning both the Champion Section B Stallion or Colt AND Champion
Section B Mare or filly and the BEST IN HAND WELSH EXHIBIT at the 2010 Royal Melbourne Horse Show.
